Super Volcano 80W Heater
6 mm diameter, standard Super Volcano heating cartridge. Easy to replace and/or exchange in order to adapt to 12 V and 24 V.
Low Current Stepper Motor
The geared LDO stepper motor (19:1) delivers 7.4 Nm of torque while only using 1.0 A. This guarantees compatibility with your 3D printer board.
M6 threaded Nozzles
The LILY Pellet Extruder is designed to work with M6 threaded nozzle. Large diameter nozzles - 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 mm are included.
Our self designed extrusion screw can handle industrial pellets, chunks/flakes from shredded waste plastic and extrude in color by using colorants. The screw is made from stainless steel and utilizes compression. L/D ratio of 7,2.
Teflon Heat-shield
A CNC cut teflon socket covers the extrusion barrel to secure safety and avoid accidental burnings.
IR Feedstock Level Sensor
The integrated IR feedstock level sensor in the hopper triggers automatically the Auto Pellet Dispenser, when the extruder needs more pellets.
Dual Metal Extrusion Zone
For the screw, barrel and hopper we opted for 2 different metals. The different heat conductivity of the metals helps to avoid clogging.
Duralumin mounting plates with M4 x 0.7 threaded holes, let you bolt-on the extruder to your 3D printer carriage. The orientation of U-shaped brackets can be individually changed, which delivers 3 different configurations of vertical hole distances (34, 47.7, 61.4 mm).
Layer Cooling Fan
The powerful centrifugal blower fan together with the air funnel, allows for rapid cooling down of deposited material.
Axial Pellet Cooling Fans
2 x brushless fans (24 or 12 V) prevent clogging of pellets at the entrance of the hopper by creating a cross airflow in the reservoir.
Heat Sink Cooling Fan
The heat sink cooling fan on the hopper and barrel thread, provides extra cooling.

The LILY Kit with its compact form factor for a pellet extruder and the fitting Auto Pellet Dispenser, give Makers access to reliable pellet 3D printing. All that at a buying price, which can be recovered within 4-6 month, when printing on average 20 hours/week and a flowrate of 250 g/h.
The LILY Kit can easily be scaled up. Be it an increase of the capacity of the Auto Pellet Dispenser or higher temperatures of the LILY Pellet Extruder.
The modular mounting plates with M4 x 0.7 threaded holes, let you bolt-on the extruder to your 3D printer carriage. The orientation of the U-shaped brackets can be individually changed, which delivers 3 different vertical hole distances (34, 47.7, 61.4 mm).
The next step is to wire the LILY Pellet Extruder to your 3D printer. We recommend using the included MOSFET to connect the 80W heating cartridge. The Auto Pellet Dispenser needs no connection with the 3D printer. It works autonomously via its own PCB and power supply.
For the LILY Kit to transfer material and signals automatically a few last connections are needed. The IR level sensor of the extruder needs to go to the dispenser. Then Connect the PE feeding hose to the extruder and the dispenser. Last but not least connect the power cord of the dispenser.
Follow the detailed instructions in the documentation to adapt the firmware (Marlin, Repetier, Smoothie) and slicer settings to pellet 3D printing. The LILY Kit works with standard .gcode files.
